“You don’t have to live forever, you just have to live.”

Bonjour everyone! I got an adventure to tell you, I hope you'll read by.
It was a very fine day, February 24, 2017 (Friday) when my bestfriend and I finally had the guts to travel away from the city. It was definitely a week-planned trip but I never thought it would eventually happen.
I've seen a lot of posts from my Facebook friends who had already gone by West 35. As a "laagan"person, I wanted to go there too. My first reason is because of the ambiance and next comes the zipline!!!
Who would have thought that the scheduled meetup which is 10:30am becomes 12:30noon!??? I patiently waited for my friend because I am already hyped with this plan. Luckily, I was able to control my nostrils from burning before I decided to cancel this. (Huhuhuhahaha)
Going there, we met at Ayala and rode a V-hire going to Balamban. (Fare is 120 pesos) You won't definitely regret the hour drive because there is a wonderful view of the mountains and the fog too 😉. Since it was my friend's first time (how sad) to go past beyond Busay, I tell her places and the known spots of Busay. I guess, we were so talkative for the whole drive and I don't care how annoying we were.
Before the trip, I told the driver to let us stop by West 35 since I don't know what part of Balamban it was. And luckily, the driver remembered my request, so he stopped as by the entrance. I tell you, by the time you go down, you can easily feel the coolness of the place and you can see the fog too! Can you imagine that?
We excitedly took pictures hehe.
(ana siya, picturi ang tickets bi! hahahhahaha)
As we continue to walk, we enjoyed the cool and fresh air, the green view and the peacefulness. We easily forgot our stresses, the city, the plates and everyone. We focused more of ourselves and how much we loved the place.
I forgot to take a picture of the restrooms!!!! Honestly, you can still see everything because it is open. I mean, there is no exterior wall but there are wall partitions for the male and female.
Afterwards, we headed at the top part of West 35. We were disappointed at first because we can't enter the space. We don't know why.
(we were already inside at this view)
So we just planned to stay outside.
Meanwhile, a group of friends didn't mind the Yellow Caution line, so we followed as well. Hehe
Afterwards, we headed for the zipline since one reason of this trip is to zipline along the mountains hahaha. I tell you, it is still a long walk from here to the zipline area. Promise. If you have any plans in riding for the zipline, PAY FIRST AT THE OFFICE!!!!! I repeat, PAY FIRST. They don't put any notice on your way. From my experience, we instantly went down to zipline area. We thought that we will pay right there. When we reached the area, the staff told us that we need to pay at the office, which means a long walk up again!!!
Zipline fee: 150 pesos
For me, it was a good ride because of the view and the breeze of west 35!!!! But before anything else, you have to make sure that the equipment are safely and secured on your body. Don't hesitate to tell the staff to let someone escort you once you reach the other end for safety reasons.
When we were finally done enjoying the place, we took more pictures.
We will surely go back to the place if we wanted to unwind and to leave the stresses behind. I recommend this place to everyone!!!! A perfect breeze!!!
For our next trip, we planned to visit my province which is in Asturias, Cebu. It is bounded by Tuburan in the north; Balamban in the south, Danao city in the east.
From West 35, we rode a motorcycle to Balamban City proper. The fare is 100pesos per person. From there, we rode trycicles.
Honestly, I always forgot to took a picture at this part every time I went here because life with relatives is always much better. Hehe. Afterwards, we headed to the shore. A very relaxing place for me. I just love the smell of the ocean and fresh winds..
By the end of the night, we had an unexpected happening! But I won't tell 😜 Haha so much for this na!
We arrived to the city around 8pm in the evening. We were so tired there are still smiles in our faces we can't contain. This is definitely a day to be remembered. To more adventures and laughter. Cheers!
